Nicolás Fuchs made his rally car debut in 2005, racing in Peru’s Premio Presidente de la República. He achieved his first victory two years later, competing in the N4 category of that very same rally. Since then, Fuchs has secured his reputation as the most successful driver in Peru by repeatedly winning National Rally Championships. He rose to the spotlight by winning the championship title in his first appearance at the 2009 Inca Trail Rally, one of the few remaining long-distance events in the world. In 2011, Fuchs brought his talents to the Production Car World Rally Championship and took fifth place overall in a breakthrough performance. In 2013, he became Production Cup Champion after winning six consecutive races, becoming the first Peruvian pilot to achieve this award. In 2014, Fuchs is competing in the Fia World Rally Championship 2 (WRC2), which pits drivers and production-based cars against some of the toughest and most varied conditions on the planet.
